A lot of people have had problems finding on the site so I've made an area to put all the answers.
Why do we need a membership?
RC Pro has had to increase the number of events we have to supply insurance coverage for. Up until 2007 we have absorbed the cost but that cost has risen to a point we can't absorb it any longer. One option is to raise entry fees but they are already expensive now in our opinion.
Do I need to be a member to race in a State Series?
NO!
Where is membership required?
If you run in the NATIONAL SERIES you must be a member.
Is there a weekend membership?
YES! A $5 weekend membership is available for those that may not intend on running the full series. If you do a single event membership and then decide to get a full membership in the same year each of your $5 single event memberships will be deducted from the full membership price. Your membership join date will then be the date of your 1st single event membership.
What about the Finals is there an event membership for one of the finals?
NO! You must be a full member to race at any of the finals.
How long is a memebrship good for?
Membership is for one year from the date you joined.
I joined online how long does it take to get my card?
We submit a list to the printer every monday. Around some holidays this may be delayed. Also we have to submit a certain number of cards to be printed at one time so we may have to wait until we get enough to submit. Under normal conditions we submit the cards to the printer and we get the cards in 2 weeks or less, if the printer doesn't screw up. Once we have them in hand Mary will put them in the envelopes with a letter and stickers and mail them out. If you don't get your card in about 3 weeks please email us. We have had some cards lost in the mail.
I joined but didn't get a confirmation email.
We are trying to get a confirmation email working but that is above my website knowledge so our webmaster is working on it. I am manually emailing each person that has joined now but I might be traveling to or from an event so this may take me a day or two to complete. I will include your membership number in the email so you can fill out entry forms until your card arrives.
